Each project is independent and starts with a conversation with the principals. It's critical to understand a piece's intent and discuss style, scope, color, and placement within the intended environment (& engineering if needed). We present a maquette for visualization and a fabrication plan for final approval.
Art Is was founded by Danielle Trent and Steve Perkins in 2023 to provide creative pieces to individuals for public spaces. Both artists have demonstrated success with monumental installations of fabricated metal sculptures.
Athough we are experienced in many different mediums, including fiberglass, bronze casting, ceramics, and stained glass, our dominant element is fabricated metal. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
Art design emerges from the creative process we employ. We combine research, education, past experiences and conversations with clients to produce unique and site appropriate sculptures. We are motivated by a deep appreciation of form.
